Week 13: IHSA Super 8 Quarterfinals & State Playoffs

Monday, June 8: Lane Tech vs. Libertyville, 7:30 p.m. Wintrust Field, Shamburg
Lane Tech will face Libertyville in a rematch of the season opener in the win-or-go-home IHSA Super Sectional.

Friday: TBD - IHSA State Semifinals 7 p.m., Slammers Stadium, Joliet
Winners of Monday night's game will play Friday in the IHSA semifinals. Monday night winners from all divisions are guaranteed at least two more games with consolation matchups set for Saturday before the championship round.

Week 12: IHSA State Tournament - Sectional Championships

Saturday, June 6: Lane Tech 2 - Glenbrook North 1
Lane Tech enters the Illinois Super Sectional for the first time in school history.
Dodger's Dominant Outing -
Sophomore righty Dodger Friedrich threw a complete game and the Lane Tech defense held strong to punch its ticket to the 2026 IHSA Super Sectionals. Friedrich's outing ties the single season record for wins (8) and sets a new record for innings pitched (54). Lane Tech will play Libertyville in a rematch of the season opener at 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 8 at Wintrust Field in Schaumburg.

The Day of Delaney -
Lane Tech advanced to its first ticket to the IHSA Sectional championship round behind three perfect relief innings from Alex Delaney and a multi-hit performance from All-City third baseman Tanner Toback. During the IHSA tournament, Lane Tech relievers have thrown nine innings, allowing one run while striking out 12.

Registration is now open for the 2026 Incoming Freshman Summer Camp. Players who are planning to attend Lane Tech next year are encouraged to participate and learn from current LT players and coaches in a three-day camp.
